Hasan Doğan began his political life at the Virtue Party’s Ankara Provincial Youth Commission. His position as the Deputy President of Ankara Provincial Youth Commission ended after the party was shut down. Following the foundation of the AK Party, he was elected as a founding CDAC member of the Youth Branch at the party’s headquarters. He served as a Deputy Chairman, who was responsible for the media, of the Youth Branch at the AK Party’s Headquarters. During that period, Mr. Doğan also took part in the organization team and served as the announcer of the rallies and ceremonies in which AK Party’s Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan participated. After the AK Party won the elections on November 3, 2002, and the 58th Government of the Republic of Turkey was formed, he served as the Press and Public Relations Advisor at the Office of the Chief of Cabinet at the Prime Ministry.
